What Happened Over the Weekend

How was everyone's weekend? I know it's tuesday here already but my week just started. The reason is that Sundays and Mondays are Patrick's day off and so that's when we usually spend our time together even though this time, he spent it with his computer, watching and playing games.

Last saturday, we went to a small gathering. My parents and some family friends have a regular bible study/gathering and since they haven't seen baby K since I gave birth, I decided to attend. It was nice seeing people whom you haven't seen for a while. One of my tita also have a baby boy who's only 3 weeks older than baby K. They seem to get along sometime. We were only there for a couple for hours because it was at night and I didn't want my little girl to be out late at night. 

Our sunday was an exciting day. Baby K had her first solid food. I couldn't wait any longer and she looked hungry so I gave her really soft, mashed squash. She really liked and enjoyed it. Luckily, Patrick's cousin was able to record a video of her first meal.

She loved that squash but when I gave her potato last night, she had this funny "I don't like it" face. I don't know if it was because I made something wrong or she's still getting used to the taste of potatoes. I also saw her actually sucking her thumb and not her fist. I think that's an improvement.

Other than that, we had a rather quiet weekend. Nothing special happened apart from her having her first solid food. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
