She Loves to Eat

Half way through on her seven month and Baby K has started to eat a lot now. She accepts all the food that I give her, even the vegetables. Well, maybe not cauliflower but almost all vegetables. If there's something she doesn't like, she will make a face but continue eating it anyway. I have started her on mashed foods which she really loved. I started giving her arroz caldo (rice porridge) with bits and pieces of chicken and she loved it. It's one of her favourite food lately and strawberries of course. She can't stop eating strawberries. At first, I was hesitant because I thought, how is she possibly going to eat that with no teeth? It wasn't questionable for her. She can eat one big strawberry. I can feel her gums scraping it all.

"Mmmm.. yummy"

I was surprised when she ate half of the strawberry and so now, she's having one every after meal. She loves eating, that's all I can say. After she has finished eating and it's my turn to eat, she will look at me, expecting her food to come. I feel so bad eating in front of her so I usually put her down on her mat so she can play instead of staring at me. Does that mean she is still hungry? It's so confusing because I give her quite a lot of food and I just think she's full when she isn't opening her mouth anymore.

I love food
But I can guarantee, she loves to eat and I love it. It will be easier to feed her. I hope it won't change as she grows up. I just can't wait for her to cut her tooth 'cause it means she's able to eat more "real" food. I was told that she can eat what we eat when she reaches 8 months. Well, some of it anyway. Everything is becoming more exciting everyday.

  1. Yay! She's a good eater! That's amazing, and I hope she doesn't change either. My husband is extremely picky and I fear that it will rub off on Dylan because it will make meal time a challenge.

    1. That's what I'm thinking cause my partner is picky too especially when it comes to veges. He hates them. I just hope Kaelyn will like her veges forever. haha! She's been good so far :)

  2. I think she'll do just fine and she'll be eating even more once her teeth comes in. Madison was just like that, she ate everything you gave her. She's a little bit more picky now but she still loves her food, especially her veggies.

  3. Great picture. It's wonderful that she is eating such good food. My son went through a picky phase (for like 2 years and he is only 3) where it was impossible to get him to eat anything. Keep up with good work and the strawberries!
