Doctor's Visit, Shopping and More.

It's already wednesday, can you believe it? We're half way through the week which brings us closer to the weekend. It's already wednesday and I know, this is my first post for the week. I apologize for that. The reason being is that I've been a little too tired lately that after putting baby K to sleep, I also go to sleep straight away. Our start of the week has been quite busy. We went her doctor to get her ears checked. I was worried that she might have ear infection because of the stuff that was coming out of her ears. Turns out, they were just wax and I was worried for nothing. Also, I asked if something's wrong with her because she always spits out milk every after feed. She has been like that since she was born. I was told by the nurse that she might just be eating too much and that it's normal for babies. The thing is, I've been hearing weird gurgling sound from her tummy. The doctor said she's having a little reflux and prescribed Gaviscon (infant) and was told to monitor her for two weeks. After the doctors, we went to the mall to buy her high chair. Too early? Well, it was 40% off and here, you can barely see baby stuff that are 40% off. It was the last day of the sale and luckily, there's one last left. It was meant to be.

Yesterday, it was just me and baby K at home. Every one else was either at work or school. It was really sunny so I was able to do all of our laundry which has been long overdue. I was done around lunch time and I was feeling a little bored and sleepy. I thought, why not go for a little walk since the weather is good. Unfortunately, the stroller was in the van which Patrick used to go into work. Good thing I have the baby carrier and so I used that instead. It was a good day for a walk. Baby K enjoyed it. She was looking at the houses and trees and such. We walked to the dairy which was two blocks from the house. I bought an ice cream because I was feeling hot then we walked back. She fell asleep on the way home. She got so tired when I was the one carrying her, haha!

Good View, Sunny Weather, Ice Cream and Baby K

Today has been a little quiet. We woke up later than usual. Now that baby K has been rolling over and over whenever you put her down, it's hard to leave her alone even for just a couple of minutes. Even going to the bathroom is hard because when I come back into the room, she's already on her tummy trying to reach for her toys. Yesterday, I sat her down on her high chair so I could keep an eye on her while cleaning up the kitchen. She was okay with it, played with her toys but didn't last that long. She doesn't want to sit up for too long so I figured, I will buy the baby bouncer that I've been eyeing for so long. To make it a little better, it's 40% off which means it is really for me to buy. With the bouncer here, it should be able to make my life a little easier. At least, I get to bring her with me around the house when I'm doing chores. She won't also get bored lying at her cot, looking at her mobile. I am just waiting for it to arrive. It should be here by next week.

How is everyone's week so far? Today's the last day of July already, half way through the year. The time is going to fast these days. You should be making the most out of it.

  1. I can't believe how fast July went by! Stunned.

I love the pictures of Baby K. What a doll! Children love getting outdoors. I remember both my babies loved their walks (my toddler still adores it).

    Wishing you a lovely day.
    xoxo

  3. My 12 year old suffered from reflux and had to be on special formula. She doesn't sound like she has it too bad so you're lucky. Sounds like you're having fun shopping those 40% off sales. I would have taken advantage of them too. I love sales. Hope you're having a great week! :)

    1. I love sales too so I grab it whenever there's a chance. She's getting a little better. I hope it continues to be like that because it makes me feel sad when she's having reflux. It feels like she doesn't feel good. Have a good weekend to you guys. :)
