Being Creative

Ever since baby K was born, I have been looking for things that would capture her features while she is  still a baby. I wanted to have a photo shoot for her but the packages that I have looked are too expensive for me. I have decided that I will buy the costumes, make backdrops and take the photos instead. I haven't done that yet because I am still figuring out how I'd want it to be. But back to the topic, I wanted to have her footprints ink or have it moulded and put in a frame just to see how tiny she was and also, I want to have some "captured moments" of her. I don't really know how to describe it but you know what I'm talking about, not just pictures. I wanted to be a little more creative so I started to look up online to see what there is. Then I found this site called Momentoes NZ. They do 3D castings of hands and feet not only for babies but for the whole family. I find it really creative because you get to choose the color of your frame, the color of the background, etc. You can also put your baby's picture in it or some other things that you want to remember. When I saw that, I knew I had to make one for baby K.

So after a few weeks of negotiating with my partner, we were able to go on one weekend. And now, after weeks and weeks and weeks of waiting, it finally came. We were meant to go and pick it up this afternoon but they were so kind that they dropped it off here at home. I was so excited to see it.

It looks so good. My partner chose the colour combination and the frame colour and he did a very good job. I love it. I can't wait to hang it on the wall.
