Throwback Thursday - Boracay Vacation

It's THROWBACK THURSDAY yet again. Here in New Zealand, we're nearing the end of winter which means it's time for ice creams, water parks, beaches and having the sun up until 9pm. Seeing posts about summer makes me miss the hot weather even more. Summer is my favourite season. I enjoy being under the sun, and that's with good skin protection of course.

Me, Tito Ian, Kristina

When I was about 14 or 15, my family went to Boracay. It's one of the best beaches in the Philippines. I was so happy I got to go there. White sand, clear water, good food, everything was just absolute perfect. We stayed there for a couple of days and it was really fun. We did snorkelling, rode banana boats, explored the area, and enjoyed the best of everything in there. It was one of the best trip I have ever went to.

I have been looking all through my photos, thinking what to post for my throwback and when I saw this, I just can't wait for summer to come. I can't wait to enjoy the beach, and by that time, Baby K would be crawling and enjoying the sun with me. Although, I don't think I'll be in a good figure just like in that picture to wear a bikini. After giving birth, I got a little conscious about my figure. Not being able to fit into my old clothes made me upset at times. I realised though, that I shouldn't be worried about my body. I mean, I carried a baby for nine months and I think my body needs some rest after that. It needs to heal and I'm doing the best I can to have my old body back. Even though I miss wearing small sized clothes, one look at my daughter and everything just fades away. I don't care about it, as long as she's with me, I'm happy.

I hope you are all enjoying the summer season in your country. Happy Thursday everyone!

  3. I can still remember my experience in Boracay in details. It is indeed one of the best experience in my life. Everything in Boracay is awesome; no doubt about the famous white sand, the water, the food, restaurants and even the boracay resorts, and the people. I will always love to come back to this paradise island. :D
